Frog legs are moist, tender, fried with a kick in the crust. Fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese…Southern/Southern combo satisfies. Might as well request two tubs of the most lightly whipped butter ever. And the soft, sink your teeth into them rolls pair well with the butter. So there!
Review the spirits menu and settle on the strawberry basil margarita, which will completely erase your memory of only six sets of guardrails on the trip up, up, up. Truly an amazing margarita. Basil may be my new favorite herb. Let me repeat…truly an amazing margarita.

You did make reservations, right? You did ask for a view? If you forgot, ask the hostess and you will receive. And now that your hostess went out of her way to accommodate you, go out of yours to savor the view of verdant green and quaint architecture. Appreciate peeling paint with patina and a hint of rust. Reminds us that everything doesn’t have to be perfect to be enjoyed.
Pretty setting. We went up for the seafood buffet special they're running on Friday nights, right now. I liked almost everything I tried, but some things weren't quite the quality you might expect for $34.95 per person. I think a good part of what you're paying for is the atmosphere, which was more expensive and not really as classy as Captain George's, near the coast. If you go, MAKE A RESERVATION, preferably a day or so ahead.

All the food and drinks from this restaurant were excellent during my visit. The food portions were slightly small but overall good quality.
Went gaga over the gnocchi with sage butter. Viva vinaigrette on the arugula! So the salmon which was so,so gets a pass. New York Strip flavorful and cooked to order.
